Overstock Sale! Retail AND Wholesale Customers!

December 31st, 2012

We’re not sure how it happened, but somehow we got two numbers mixed up in the count for a pattern order, so we have more Providence patterns than we know what to do with!  The good news is that it gives us the chance to try something we’ve wanted to try anyway - a webstore sale!  So, we’ve bundled our Providence pattern with the Wing Clipper 2 for a sale price of $24 in our retail store, and have extended this bundle pricing to our wholesale customers, as well.  It’s a great time to round out your collection of rulers and get a great pattern at a nice discount.  Not sure how long the sale with last, it’s limited to quantities on hand (although since its an overstock sale, you can be pretty sure there are more than a few to sell!)

Three New Products!

September 4th, 2012

Who’s ready for some new products from Studio 180 Design?  We’ve got three for today, but keep your eyes open, there are at least that many more right around the corner!

Two New Patterns

Galaxy is a beautiful alternating block design using two types of blocks, one with a red star and one with a blue star.  Because of the color placement and the different angles in the triangles, the interesting interlocking circles appear and the second star block disappears into the circles.  It’s a fun optical illusion, easy to make and even easier to admire.  To make a good thing even better, the pattern includes three sizes!  You’ll make it with Deb’s V Block and Tucker Trimmer tools.

Patriot is a traditional style wall quilt with a contemporary flair. It is based on two kinds of geese – fast flying geese in the center and migrating geese in the border. You won’t believe how quick and easy it is to make those migrating geese! You’ll have them done quicker than geese can fly South for the winter! Patriot uses the Wing Clipper and the Square2.

An Improvement on an Old Friend

And secondly, we just got in a new and improved blue magic wand. We looked and looked and found a color that is just perfect - a little deeper than the old color, which makes the line show up very clearly.  If you love blue, this one's for you!

There is more information available on all three products in the web store.  Click on the links above to zip on over and check them out!

Two New Patterns! Hot Off The Presses!

July 30th, 2012

Something many of you have been patiently waiting for!  The pattern for Haley's wedding quilt and the companion pattern for Marie Bostwick's novel Ties That Bind are now available in our web store at studio180design.net.

Deb’s daughter Haley selected Pop Stars as her wedding quilt when she married Aubrey last October. Deb designed this beautiful quilt using her Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool and technique resulting in a complex looking but easy to make quilt.  For Haley’s, Deb used wool batting and backed it with flannel to keep the young couple warm on those cold winter nights. It's a beauty!

Garden Dance is the name of the companion quilt to Marie's novel Ties That Bind. It's a lovely medallion quilt with an applique center surrounded by multiple borders in blues and yellows, tied together with a lush focus fabric in coordinating shades.

Please check out our website, studio180design.net, for more information on both of these new patterns.
